Teachers

We are passionate about music and the development of children. We will teach you about your child's musical development and how you, as their most important role model, can support it.

Creating a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development is our goal.

photo Kelly

Kelly Guillory grew up in Michigan. As a child, she loved singing, dancing, and recording plays on her family’s camcorder. She played the oboe in concert band class, took piano lessons, and sang in choir throughout her youth.

Kelly graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Visual Arts Education and taught public school art classes for three years. She then went back to school for a graduate degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2014, Kelly moved to California to begin working as a registered art therapist (ATR). She also began collaborating with music therapists, often combining the two specialties together.

After having her first child (of two) in 2018, Kelly met a fellow mom at a playground who told her about Music Together classes. Kelly signed up her then 6-month-old son, was immediately hooked, and still is! She completed the Music Together training program in the summer of 2025, and will be apprenticing with Jody in the Fall of 2025.

Kelly loves to sing, dance, be silly, and have a good time!
